Popcorn works. You should use Tums sparingly, as they contain aluminum.

Tums and liquid antacids failed after a while for me. I was told we can take Zyantac (not sure if I spelled it right). So I went to Family Dollar here in the town I live in and it was like 5 dollars for 8 pills, so I looked at the generic brands they had and found the Family dollar brand that had the same exact ingredients as the zyantac and it works amazingly!

Thanks everyone. I will try just about anything at this point. I did however just steal some of my son's Nerds and sucked on them and it did help for about 5 minuets. I have a horrible craving for ice water with ice chips in it but its making it worse. And its a pain in the butt cause I've been crushing the ice in the blender just to make the ice chips. Husband said he is sick of hearing the blender all night...lol

I'm on pantoprozal..I have acid reflux. I've had it for around 3 yrs now. It goes in and out. I would ask for for a medication to help. It can screw up your throat and cause other problems if bad enough.
