Heartless?

So I'm nineteen weeks plus with a baby girl. We just found out it was a girl yesterday. I noticed that I don't cry at my ultrasounds, I always hear about women crying when they hear the heartbeat or see the baby but I didn't. Am I heartless?

I'm very emotional & didn't cry @ my ultrasound either. I was way to excited! You're not heartless!

My mom cried but my husband and I were so nervous because of all the complications we are having. I felt weird as well. Thanks for posting this.

No way. The first time I cried with my daughter was when she was born. However, I've since miscarried, so seeing my current baby in an ultrasound waving his/her little arm, I bawled like a baby.

I am not one who cries often. I am also not one who cries when it comes to happy stuff I smile instead. I have never cried at an U/S, I am happy and smiling and love seeing her move and hearing the H/B but I dont cry. I think if someone called me heartless they would be very inaccurate :)

im an emotional person but never cried at ultrasounds with any 3 of my pregnances. instead i remember i was smiling to myself all the time!
