Its very common my 5yr old daughter caught it off our neighbours cat when she 2 weeks old allover her head which was a nightmare coz she had a head full of thick black hair!! Didn't take long to clear up though with creams from the doctor and I never caught it off her. Just make sure she doesn't touch them coz it will easily spread over her body.
Blue star oriment works miracles
thrush cream like canneston will clear it up :)
Thanks ladies I'm gonna have my hubby check the dogs I don't have any cats but I know there's some that run the neighborhood
Its just a fungus. We had goats when I grew up and I had it many times. Put athletes foot cream on it and it will go away. And like one of te others ladies said check ur psets also.
You should be ok as long as you wash your hands or whatever come into contact with your 3 yr old. Aslo, I don't know if you have any pets in the house or around but they can also contract it from your little one and in turn pass it back to you or anyone it comes in contact with. Just an fyi :)
i dont have it my 3 year old does i just dont want to get it because i am pregnant i do know that it is highly contagious an that i need to wash all her bedding as well as mine because she has been in my bed
I contracted ringworm from a child earlier in my pregnancy..I went to see the doc he said it's fine won't affect the baby and to get an over the counter cream from your local pharmacy..just let them know how far along you are etc...you will be fine.
I know this is a pregnancy forum but no one answers in the other forum I use
