Its very common my 5yr old daughter caught it off our neighbours cat when she 2 weeks old allover her head which was a nightmare coz she had a head full of thick black hair!! Didn't take long to clear up though with creams from the doctor and I never caught it off her. Just make sure she doesn't touch them coz it will easily spread over her body.

You should be ok as long as you wash your hands or whatever come into contact with your 3 yr old. Aslo, I don't know if you have any pets in the house or around but they can also contract it from your little one and in turn pass it back to you or anyone it comes in contact with. Just an fyi :)

I contracted ringworm from a child earlier in my pregnancy..I went to see the doc he said it's fine won't affect the baby and to get an over the counter cream from your  local pharmacy..just let them know how far along you are etc...you will be fine.
