I bet shes moving and you just dont know it. When I started to feel my baby move I realized thats what those feelings were the whole week before that. I also notice that when I'm stressing about it and concentrating on it so much, I swear she feels the tension I'm feeling and doesnt move as much. Then when I relax and forget about it I always feel her start to dance around. :) Try not to worry.
She does move you just can't feel it yet. Your baby has been moving all along. It's probably the placement of baby and placenta
i hadnt felt mine move in a week but i was going through alot of stress with my hubby when i decided to just relax i felt my baby start moving again alot im 19 weeks with my 1st child i felt nothing till i had a ultrasound and saw the baby moving then i was able to figure out what moving felt like
There could be alot of factors as to why u haven't felt her move yet place of placenta , where the baby is laying and your weigh if you are a bit on the heavier side that affects it too, also if it's your first child or not, my friend just had twin girls n didn't feel them till 25 weeks, but if your really worried then see your doc could listen to the heart beat to reassure you
Hi
Pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks (9mos). At 23 weeks, you are going on 5 months. If this is your first pregnancy (tight muscles) you may not feel the movement yet.
You may also not know what the movements feel like.
Your baby may hiccup. It will feel like a rhythmic movement. I said to my doc "could she be dancing in there?"
The regular wiggles were descibed to me in an excellent way. If you have never caught a fish on a line, you may not appreciate it.
When you are fishing, the fish will come up and nibble and grab at your bait under the water. The feeling of your baby moving feels like a fish hittng on the bait when you fish.
It was a good analogy for me (I love to fish), but alot of women have not gone fishing. Maybe playing with a kitten and a string. A little tug feeling.
Try sitting quietly for 20 minutes or so during the day. You will tend to feel it more on the sides as I remember.
Remember, your baby is still pretty tiny. I am sure you can find a guide online that will give you a timeline/size chart. I hope you are seeing at least a midwife (or preferably so). These professionals are there for your beck and call. That means if you have a question... CALL THEM!!! It is their job. 27/7
Do you know where abouts your Placenta is?? Is it at the front or back??
You could always go to the doctor and say how concerned you are and have them check the heart beat!!
