Help my baby is still in Posterior position

Hello ladies I'm scheduled to have my baby next week and she in the Posterior position. Which means she's head down but faceing sunny side up. I'm so scared because I don't want a c-section this is my 1st child and I don't want to hurt her or me.

Yes she's facing up. But I'm getting induced this Thursday.

Does that mean she is facing up? Because my daughter came out like that and she was fine. I also had her when I was 41w 4d. :)

Okay thank you I read so many bad things online about the baby being in Posterior position. I read you have to have a c-section and when the baby come out there head shape be dis formed.

Most of the time babies will get in the correct position when labor starts but some babies dont.

While posterior presentation isn't the most perfect position for labor,  it's unlikely to cause a c-section.  It might cause a little bit longer labor or more painful back labor (that can often be helped by getting you up on all fours) it's not usually a cause for a c-section.

Best wishes.
