how do u know?
Im 36 weeks today and I'm at least 2 cm dilated. The past 2 days ive been having cramp like feeling in the middle of my tummy just before my belly button. Soon after my entire stomach is hard. I'm assuming its early labor? Is it too early? My question is can u check yourself and tell how effaced u are? I haven't been leaking abdnormally and no blood or mucus plug
You cannot check yourself to see if you are thinning. Even my doc has a hard time reaching it! That sounds more like BH not real contractions. Real ones usually start in your back and wrap around your front like a wave. It will last 45-60 sec. BH are more of tightening just in middle last 15-30 sec.
