Okay, so im only approx 9weeks, this has worried me even before I fell pregnant. My hubby is very tall and big build. Him and his sisters weighed over 10pounds when they where born, now the thing that is worrying me is I am small, im about 5ft3 weigh approx 8stone and im a small size. My mother said I should try and get a c-section because everyone thinks im going to have a big baby. To say the least I am s***ing myself. Any advice for me? (I know im still early in my pregnancy but it's good to be prepared).

Just relax maybe baby will take after u and be small :) congrats

congrats :)   if your baby measures big they will talk through your delivery options with you, my mum is only 5'5 and i was 9lbs 10.5oz when i was born, my son was 9lbs and 21 inches long but both me and BD are tall (I'm just under 6ft and he is over 6ft) x

I know someone who was tiny like u and her hubby was big and she was also scared but she had a 10lb baby naturally. The docs said it wasnt a issue as she had a wide pelvis. U might be ok, just remember our bodies were made to do this :)

Just relax..you have plenty of time to discuss all the delivery options. I was 6'4 and my husband was 7 at a month early..our baby girl weighed 7lbs 5 oz at 37 weeks and we are now at 39 and are being induced on June 10...I am going to try to have her vaginal but if all else falls we will have a c section..I don't care as long as our baby girl is healthy.

@beki21 and how did she cope with pushing a 10pounder out? People also say it's easier to push big baby's out because they don't get stuck as easy as small baby's. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens. Thank you ladies! :)

She did tear a abit but all was ok. I think a tear is better than a csec in the end.

my partner and his bro was over 10lb I was 7lb born they told me id have a big baby between 8-10lb on my 1st witch was a boy but he was only 5lb12oz born at 40weeks3days so small had a dolls hat for him so your best off waiting to see how you go x
