I meet with my doctor on Monday to see what she says. But she didn't seemed worried and neither am I but I am going to tell her about the other doctor.
That is very rude, I'm sorry. It is hard for some of us, and others don't understand. I ate constantly when I was pregnant, and they were rude to me as well, as if I was purposely not putting on weight. If your personal doctor isn't worried you should trust him. Your child is nearly 6 lbs., and if he is born less they would just put baby in an incubator for a couple days. Your baby will still be perfectly healthy. Milkshakes did help to put some of the weight on my child and not just me, so maybe try that?
A 5 pound baby is fine, but maybe baby will gain a pound by the time she arrives. Sounds like baby is very close to 6 pounds anyway
But ive gained 32 lbs. So my doctor isnt worried but I recently had to see a different doctor bcuz mine was at an at home delivery. They seem worried. I even had one tell me to eat a cheese burger which I felt was rude and it hurt my feelings.
Yes with my first. I was having trouble gaining weight, therefore she wasn't gaining weight. They told me to drink milkshakes and I was able to gain a couple lbs., although they still induced me cause they decided she would gain weight better on her own. She was born 6 lbz. 2 oz., So it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought.
