Help :(

Im 18 and 12 weeks tomorrow. I'm a first time mom and I'm worried being so young and don't wanna ruin my body with stretch marks. I already have some on my hips. Any tips on what work outs to do any what lotions and oils help??

Everyone says it's genetics but you can still help avoid it. My mom has a ton, when I asked this question everyone told me I'd be the same as her. They were wrong. If you take care of your skin it'll be a lot better for you and you'll have a lot less marks. I use bio oil, it's amazing. I also like cetaphil, both can be found at Walgreen. I have one or two small ones, so yes it's genetic but you can definitely avoid getting them.

She's right you can't prevent stretch marks. Use vitamin e oil and coco butter it will help your skin and keep it from itching. If you already have stretch marks you'll probably get more and it's not the end of the world, once you hold your baby it won't even be a thought in your mind.

I didn't post this question for some negative person to tell me I can't prevent stretch marks. Obviously you can so I was asking advice from mothers who had children to tell me what products they loved.

It's all in the genetics and your skins elasticity. The younger you are the more elasticity you have in your skin. Stretch marks are deep into the skin. Lotions only sit on top of your skin. This is why lotions do not prevent yu from gettin stretch marks.

Nothing is going to prevent yu from getting stretch marks. On my opinion wear tthem like a proud mom. There are lotions that will help to lighten them that's about it
