My son, Kyle Agustin, was born on Tuesday via c-section. He's 8 lbs and 15.6 oz! A big boy for only 39 weeks gestation age. We are doing ok and adjusting well I suppose. Though I'm feeling the "baby blues" kicking in.
Surgery didn't go quite as planned. For some reason my platelets droppe and I was unable to get an epidural bc my blood wouldn't clot or something. So I had to go under general anesthesia and be asleep when he was born. My husband wasn't allowed to be present for the birth either. Most important is that me and baby are ok.

congratulations, sorry that it didnt go as planned, get lots of skin to skin contact with bub and that will make up for the lack of bonding at birth :)
Thanks y'all! He's a really sweet baby so far. Jaundice helps with that! He did spend 24 hours under the billy lights but bounced back quick!
