So my boyfriends mother was trying to be funny saying our baby was going to be big but instead of just saying she is going to be a big baby she said "your gunna have to take all her 0-3 clothes and get her 6-9" and "all your gunna have to do is put shoes on her and she will walk out the hospal" it made me mad that she said all that bc it makes me feel like I've already ****** up being a mother and my baby ain't even her yet! And I tryed to tell my boyfriend how I felt about it bc he thought it was funny and he told me I'm a ******* *****! Am I wrong for feeling that way?

Maybe ist the hormones or just the way you took it .. i had a big bby he was 10lb 1onz nd 22" long.. nd all my family said those things,  nd that all my bby needs is a bookbag so he could walk to school but i thought it was funny (:  he did lost weight to 9.14 hes 4w 4d nd he is 11lb

Thanks girls! I know a big baby is good I want a healthy baby just Its just her trying to be funny saying that stuff really hit me in the wrong way. I'm so ready to have my baby I'm miserable. And its like every little thing is getting to me! I cry over everything!

I would just tell her calmly that it makes you upset, she may not get what she's doing (as rude as it is). Big babies are healthy, I'd rather have a big healthy baby than a tiny one!!

I think she was just teasing..I don't think she thinkss ur a bad mom..no baby wears 6-9 months cloths at birth..try not to sweaat the small stuff...I know.its hard when ur preggo

Remember too that babies tend to lose weight after they are born and then start to.gain again. As long as you are a good mom forget what she says. I am buying in all sizes just in case but my baby only weighs a pound right now and I'm measuring to the day of where I should be and everyone says my baby is gonna be huge. And I am offended too because I don't want my baby to be called fat because my food.is feeding her. Try talking to her and telling her you are offended men don't understand how.we feel nearly as much. If you have a kind heart to heart it should be fine

I always have big babies there gorgous! Big or small there all precious. My oldest was really big when he was six months. I took him to babys r us to get his pictures done. And they ran after me because they wanted me to sign a paper to allow them to use my sons picture. I didnt think nothing of it and I went a few weeks later and there was my sons pic blown up . Lol I was sooo proud.

Well I think you may have just taken it the wrong way. From my understanding, usually when people comment that you're going to have a big baby, they're saying that the baby is going to be nice and big and HEALTHY.
I keep telling my husband I'm going to have a small baby so I don't have to push out a huge baby and he keeps telling me if I'm a good mom we're going to have a ten pounder lol(:

There's nothing wrong with your baby being big. Atleast she'll be healthy. But it is kinda mean for her to say that. Plus your emotional which I know how you feel. My son was 8lbs 7oz and he still fit in premie clothes. Now I'm 24+5 with a little girl and I keep gettin told different things. 1 dr said she's gunna be a premie or just small the other said Shes growing faster but not to fast. Either way as long as their healthy that's all that matters
