Im an essentialist so I doubt ill bring anything other than earplugs:) I cant sleep without them.
Probably my glasses and contact case too.
I'm 11 days postpartum and honestly when I was in the hospital all I used was a change of clothes, my usually necessities (chapstick, some makeup, cellphone and charger) my boyfriends change of clothes... A diaper bag for our little man and a few onsies for him! I way over packed and was too tired to honestly even get up and do my makeup. Pack what you think you'll need but remember that the hospital usually has everything you need
I'm not gonna pack anything but my phone charger this time. I packed with my first and didn't use one thing bc I just used what the hospital provided. I wore the gowns the whole time, used their toiletries, and they actually dress baby and give them blankets and whatnot that you can take home. And I only had on the outfit I wore to the hospital for a maybe an hour so I just wore that home bc I let my mom just go ahead and take the bag I had packed home. So it's defiantly not necessary, but it's up to you on whether or not you want your own stuff.
Im 35 weeks I packed toiletries for myself such as toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash etc. Pajamas and an outfit to go home in. An extra cellphone charger; burp clothes; an outfit for your baby to go home in; onesies; bibs;socks:puzzle books;snacks. But u can also Google it and it will give u idea of what to pack too.
