Baby's heart beat

I'm going in for my first prenatal visit on Friday the 13th :/ I received a call from the obgyn office saying that if I'm 5-6 weeks I might be able to hear the baby's heart beat. I've being using different "due date calculators" to calculate the how far along I am (which is about 6 weeks), but these calculators include the 2 weeks before conception...I know my date of conception was between January 11-14th...does anyone know if there's a possibility that we'd be able to hear the heart beat on Friday?

I will be getting the ultrasound on Friday so I should be in week 6 by that time. Hopefully we both get to hear the heartbeat since we're both going in for the ultrasound on Friday!

My LMP was dec 31st there saying my due date is october 7th but on my days app it said I ovulated around jan 12-14th.. I had an ultrasound normal one and an internal one(camera in the cervix) and all we could see is a sac and we couldnt hear the heartbeat I was worried at first and even posted a question on here as well but doc and ultrasound tech all say its simply just too early I'm measuring almost 5 weeks at the time and when I count from when I suppossably ovulated it doesnt add up.. it def has me confused too!! But anywhere from 6 weeks and up they say you usually can hear the heartbeat I didnt get too and they want me back on friday as well!! Can't wait and hope we can! Seems to me you ovulated around the time I did so you may be around the same as me about 4-5 weeks.. hope all goes good for you though!

I'm not 100% on that tho! I didn't have the heartbeat until 11 weeks. It is one of the best things you will ever experience!

Great!! I cried when I heard that I might be able to hear the heart beat this early, just wanted to make sure there was even a slight possibility.

The doctor might tell you the same due date as the due date calculators. At my first visit they did because they go off your last period. There's a possibility tho that you will hear the heartbeat. They might look for it to see if it's to early or not.
