Everytime i meet someone new i usually ask how they met their significant other...if they have one. I love to hear about how people met! So i was wondering if any of you ladies would like to share? (:

Well mine I feel is kinda love at 1st sight never really believed that saying either..
I used to go out a lot and seen this  tall dark man a far ..... from then on seen him 2 more times out  now this is in a space of a year I never seen him out a lot .... one time I was with my then partner seen my hubs not to far away and I couldn't stop checking him out .... I walked past an gt a smile of him 1st sign he ever noticed me ......I knew I need to speak to him ... or just have him
3 maybe 4 weeks later after spliting wif bf couple weeks before was out wif gf I had few more drinks then normal was dancing away when I seen him I pulled my mate over an dragged her for a drink to walk past him ... as goin bc to Wer we Wer dancing before I stopped  in front of him said to friend Wer staying here .... danced kinda Wer he was and looked over and we came to dance together ... he stayed dancing with me whole night swopped numbers ... txted for a week met up one night and we haven't been apart since ...... he told me he had noticed me before but thought I had a bf he's a shy even tho when u look at him u would never think coz he's got such a hot body lol sorry to boost girls but he really has ha ha (pic up I think )he is my world my total soul mate ... I look at him an can't believe my luck I love him so much ....  Wer expecting in may too :)

I married my best friends cousin. We had know each other since we were children. We all road bikes together because he lived just down the street from my best friend and me. The church that we both attended offered judo lessons and we were both in it at the same time. Now my DH is 4 yrs older than I am, but I remember telling my best friend how cute I thought her cousin was. Then when we got a little older he moved and I went to a private school. We didn't see each other for several years and after a brake up I went to church with my best friend and saw her cousin in the choir loft for the first time in a long while. He had the most beautiful smile and gorgeous blue eyes. If felt horrible that the day before I had just broken up with I guy I had been dating for over 2 yrs and I was looking at another guy, but I just couldn't help myself. I was at the end of my senior yr of high school. The beginning of my first year of college we started dating. He was a preacher boy and going to a Bible college. I wanted to go with him and we married that Aug. and have been happily married since.

this is cute!!! my story is interesting. i met DH on facebook!! i was being a little creeper and decided to go add guys i thought were cute that were in this organization i was involved in. and i came across his page & added him! he messaged me,and we talked for a couple of weeks and finally decided to meet up. we went to dinner & to a huge youth rally type thing (very public :) ) and now we are married!!!
i dont recomend that  btw...its kinda dangerous. i just happened to be blessed by it but some people really get themselves in trouble meeting people on the internet so don't do it!! we had lots of mutual friends in common and were involved in the same Christian organization.

August 10th 2001 is when I met Df..we were in high school. They put me in the wrong class so a girl who came to get me (ended up being a best friend for years till last year & 1/2)..... Showed me where to go... I sat right in front of Df... He has size 14 feet! He put his foot on the back of my desk and let it pop off and hit the floor. I meet my hubby in 10th grade...we were friends forever. I knew he liked me but I was the type that didnt date guys my age so I wanted nothing to do with him in that way. This guy would come to my house while I was out with other guys and play video games with my youger brother and wait for me to get home. He even a couple time drove me to my boyfriends house. When he finally had the ballz to tell me how he ready felt bout me, he actually just started seein someone and I told him that I cant do that. We didnt talk for like 2 months and I really missed him and the time we spent together. So I paged him and he called me back and we have been together ever since...he proposed to me infront of everyone at our senior prom. 11yrs later here we are married with 3 beautiful girls and just got blessed with our baby boy <3

Sweetie- I was the same way. See what happened was he had left work on his birthday the 9th bc he was hungover. Gotten into a fight with his ex and let and was staying with friend. So 5 days later(I guess 6) when he called me he was staying in the hotel in town getting ready to leave to his patrents 8hrs away. He called while I was at work and EVERYONE claimed I'd be his booty call! And goddamn if I didn't want to be! :)

well mine is pretty short lol.
But after a few horrific months with my ex we finally broke up officialy, so i decided to go on a online dating site to meet some new people to get myself out there and not mope around waiting, when i came across my future bf lol. I just sent a msg saying i thought i would say what's up. And thankfully he thought i was funny and msged back, we talked for a while and then met. And the rest is history lol, we have one DD and one more DD on the way :) been together 3 years.

Ok well... when I first met DH I was casually seeing a guy in a town a couple of hours away from where I lived. I was 19 and just enjoying life, I wanted nothing serious or any type of commitment from anyone. The guy I was seeing I wasn't really into (horrible I know) he was just someone to go visit on the weekends, there wasn't much of a "head over heels in love" feeling with him (on my part anyway, he was waaaayyy to into me lol). DH was in that town visiting family for a while, before he had to go back to where he lived, which was 2 states away. The guy I was seeing sometimes had to work weekends, so if I was down, I'd just hang around town, bored out of my mind. Well DH and I met at Hastings (lame I know), he was sooo cute, funny, we had a blast the rest of the day. We went to lunch, it felt like I'd known him for years.

We exchanged numbers, just as friends of course, even though I was more than drawn to him. I went back home, we talked constantly (I stopped seeing the other guy immediately). One night we were on the phone, and I told him how drawn to him I was, and he said, from the first time he laid eyes on me, I was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen and he wanted nothing more than to kiss me right then *sigh*. Sadly his visit was up, and he had to go home. We decided we still didn't want to do the long distance thing since neither of us knew if and when we'd ever see eachother again. We continued to talk on the phone daily, my heart flipped everytime I we spoke, but I ignored it and went on. Shortly after he left I went on a date with an old flame, and told him (DH) all about it. He too went to a church function with a girl he'd met, and I thought I was going to die. After a few days of pity and self loathing, I called him up and said, "I can't do this, I've been soo in love with you, you are the ONLY person I want to be with, I don't care when I'll see you again, but I want us to be together." He said, "OK, lets do it then."

Two weeks later he flew down and met my family over 4th of July weekend. He told me he found us a place to live and it'd be ready to go Aug. 1st. I left everything, moved there, we got engaged that Dec., married the following Oct., traveled for a couple of years, and now here we are. We've been together for over 4 1/2 years, married over 3 yrs, and expecting our first baby in Jan.

I met my Husband when I was almost 16, he was 25, we met at my aunts home. I was staying the weekend and he came over to fix my uncles computer (hes a computer nerd). He couldnt keeps his eyes off me lol. we flirted for a few weeks then one weekend he kissed me and a year later we got married. we've been together for almost 6 years now and have a 3.5 year old daughter and have another baby on the way.

Frank_Noahsmommy: ive never had the love at first sight experience! when i met my husband i wasnt attracted to him! It was only when i got to know him that i fell in love with him. But i loved your story! 6 years and still going strong!

My husband and I met in our A school. I was in the Navy at the time and he in the Marine Corps. I am now out and he is still in. I was sitting in the smoke pit with a couple of my girlfriends at the time. He and a few of his friends were bored and decided to walk through the Navy barracks. They were so bored they started doing "buddy rushes" which is a training tactic that they sometimes practice for fun. Well one of his friends almost face plants into the metal storm drain, but does some nija move that lands him in the grass.

I was pretty bold and I invited them to come sit and smoke with me and my girls. We all started talking and then my husband and I realized that we had a lot more in common with each other than everyone else did. I had a formation to get to for the night and he walked me to the back of the building.  I wasn't really looking for a relationship and neither was he. So we shook hands and went our separate ways for the night.

I was on duty for the weekend and so was he. I had a midnight to 8am post and he came and sat on it with me. by the time my post was almost done, we somehow ended up kissing. It was a full moon, clear sky night. this was on a Saturday. On the following monday, September 7th, Labor day, we went to the beach and started going out. Three weeks later, I had to tell him that I loved him. He said it back.

By the end of the month, we were engaged. He had gone home for a couple of days and I got in real big trouble while he was gone. When he came back, I told him what happened, he asked me jokingly," What am I going to do with you?" I said "Marry me?" He said Ok. next week he proposed to me in front of friends and we haven't been separated from each other since. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 4th of December.

Haha I was dating someone else too when I met DH at a bar. My then boyfriend and I were on a break and so I went out with my friends. I was standing outside taking a smoke break with my girlfriends and there was a group of guys next to us and one of them got up and went back inside so I snagged his chair and turned it to face my friends. He came back out a couple minutes later and said, "did you steal my chair?" and I said, "I didn't hear you call seat savers." Haha lame I know. Anyways we got to talking and spent the rest of the night talking about alternate energy sources. I gave him my number and then wouldn't really ever talk to him because my ex and i had got back together. He'd text saying they were going to a friends house close to me to drink and hot tub and I wouldn't even respond. This went on for months and then finally I called it quits with the ex and got drunk and sad and lonely and texted DH asking him to come sleep with me. So he drove around for 2 hours before he found my house and spent the whole night just cuddling me while I slept. It was really sweet. Took us weeks after that to even have sex but he really gained my respect when he came over to comfort me and didn't even try anything funny. Oh and when we met I had only planned to stop off at the bar to say hi to my frienda so I was wearing lazy clothes and a hat, no makeup and my hair was in a bun at a place where people wear glitter and heels and micro mini dresses. He saw through all that and still decided to talk to me. :)

I met my Hubby through his Mom. My Dad's house has 2 appartments on the property and DH Mom moved into one of them. I lived in another city but would come down almost every weekend to visit my Dad. One weekend I came home and they were all BBQing with the neighbors and My Dad was actually telling My Sister, that Denise's Son just moved in wioth her to help her get back on her feet, he is Handsome, has a good job, etc. he was telling my sister she should talk to him. Well I pull up and walk in and here them talking, but did not think anything of it and go on outside. I walked outsida and BAM it was like love at 1st sight, I know that is so cliche, but that is how it felt to me (and later I learned it was the same for him). We just started talking and we did get into an arguement and he was trying to leave and I started saying I was sorry (yes we were drinking..lol) and we kissed in the middle of the street and we did not wan to leave each other, but we had to =-( The next day I had to go back home and did not see each other, but he asked my Stepmom for my number and she called and asked if it was ok if she gave it to him I said sure. The rest is history we dated for a while and then he asked me to marry him and here we are 6 years later and still as hapy as can be!!!

thank you. yea we ended up moving in together right awa buying a house, getting engaged a couple months later and starting trying for our little girl only 3-4 months after actually getting together. we wanted the same things and we're both more happy than we've ever been. I just turned 19 he just turned 22.

EVERYONE- almost all oour stories eachother was dating some one else and now here we all are together with our dream guys lol awww how crazy life is. :)

I met my husband while working as well. I had been really sick while in high school and was moved into a program where I work full time and went to school for 6 hours a week. I had been trying all my options before I went to work in fast food (the smell made me really sick) and this was the last place I tried. He was one of the managers of an automotive company and spoke to the store manager to get me a job there. (I later found out it was my smile and speaking voice that made him talk to the store manager about it) At first he was just a weird guy that I saw sometimes. He had this huge beard (like viking huge) and this booming personality that affected everyone. Even if your day was bad he came in and made everyone smile. At the time we were both in relationships. He had been with his partner for 7 years and I was involved with someone who had moved overseas. For a brief time I went to Scotland to again, and when I got back to the states I started to realize how much I liked him. I worked to try and help his relationship, but the dead look in his eyes never went away. After a few years we both left the people we were with for each other. I moved in with him, got pregnant a few months later and now we're both married. We're more or less twins of each and couldn't be happier.

i met mine about 5 years ago..we used to party together and all hang out with the same people..he was 20 or 21 i cant remember and i was 16 lol he had a girlfriend at the time and i had a boyfriend at the time..we never really talked much. Because i was just a shy person. we just partied with all the same people and him and my bf were friends and i was friends with his gf..well about 2 1/2 years later him and his girl had broken up and i had broken up with my boyfriend. well he was telling his sister how  he liked me but i was so stubborn i never paid attention to it lol he was always texting me and asking me to come hang out and i never would well then one night after a few months of him trying to hang out with me i finally decided too. and three weeks later we had fallen head over heels  in love with eachother and now about two years later were pretty much engaged, live with eachother and going to be proud parents. its crazy how it all happened, because 4 or almost 5 years ago i would have never pictured myself being with him or him even wanting to be with me just because we were friends and only saw eachother if we were drinking and hanging out! its crazy how things happen! and i wouldnt change a thing in the world for how its all happened, ive never been happier!

I dont wanna sound like a bad egg, but my current bf I met through my ex fiancé, well he cheated on me and I put up with it ( cos I'm an idiot) then I just started talking to him never intended to get with him but we clicked more then I thought we would n been with him since
