How do you count your post ovulation days?

Im lost with where the numbers come from.  I no CD1 2,3,4 etc. when do you count 1DPO, is that after the 10th cycle day or after the day you actually ovulated?  And what day would start your tww?  Like if my cycle started july 10th and i got a positive opk july 24th and next cycle is due august 6th(28 day cycle)

DPO stands for days post ovulation, so DPO 1 should be the day after you actually ovulated. I believe DPO 1 would also be the start of your tww.

Here's my interpretation of your example. If you get a positive opk on July 24th, then your ovulation day would be July 25th, so DPO 1 should be July 26th. I would then guess that your next cycle would start on August 9th.

It looks like you're using the ovulation tracker. If you use also use OPK and just mark the results in your tracker, the tracker should calculate the DPO for you.
