My 1st two are 32months apart, and at the start I was hoping they would be alittle closer together in age, but now that I am pregnant with #3 and this one and my youngest will be 20months apart I just dont know how I am going to do it. My 2nd child is still in that needed stage and wants mommy all the time, even when my oldest trys to sit with me my youngest gets upset. If I could do it over again I would prob wait intill he was 2-2.5 before started TTC again.

I have two that are 7 years apart, and two that are 14 months apart. So I have both ends of the spectrum. They are both neat, but they ones that are close have so much more in common. I always wanted a close family, but God had a different plan for me (my oldest has a different father). But I wouldn't change anything for the world.

My kids will be 5 years and about 2 months (give or take a week or two) apart. At the moment, I couldn't be happier with the age difference. My 5 year old is enjoying the pregnancy and understanding so much about it, and he's eager to meet his baby brother. I really doubt we'll have much of a jealousy issue with him, if any at all, just because he wants to be so involved and we encourage that as much as we can.
Secondly, he's old enough to be independent of a lot of my basic care. He can dress and feed himself, he's potty trained, he is beyond the stage of having to watch him constantly for dangers like putting small things in his mouth and sticking his fingers in light sockets, etc. This way, all my energy can go into doing this for one child rather than chasing after two, which I think will be a huge benefit for my sanity, lol. He also can't wait to help out with caring for the baby, like to help change diapers (believe it or not), give baths, bottles, pick out clothes for him to wear, etc.
I have yet to find out how this will ultimately turn out for another 6 weeks or so, but right now, I'm loving the age difference and for my third child, if we have one, I'd want the age difference to be 3+ years.

couldn't do the poll yet because # 2 is due in June. I imagine it will be a challenge, but #1 will be about 30 months and he by then should be potty trained because he's on the right track already. I feel if they were closer than this it would be tough. I think 2 years is good spacing.

There was no option for our situation so I voted "other" - by the time baby no. 2 is here next month, DS will be 3 years, nearly 4 months.  This is the perfect space for us - he's more independent now (even toilet trained!).  My brother and I are 13 months apart, and I honestly don't know how my parents did it!!
