If you're craving it and it's the taste that your mom thinks you need with your meal, drink NA beer. It tastes exactly the same.

Kaliber is a good non-alcoholic beer.  I drank it when nursing, to increase my milk flow.  You might check it out.  It has the flavor.

I just look at it as, why take the chance? Every woman's body is different. Some woman may never have an issue and drink several drinks a week while some woman could drink once and ruin everything. There's no reason you can't wait or get the non-alcoholic beer for taste. I don't even believe wine should be drank during pregnancy but that's just me. Same go for women that smoke, I'm a smoker but quit the day I found out I was pregnant and didn't smoke again until I was done breastfeeding.

Alcohol is alcohol,  and it doesn't matter whether it's beer or wine or hard liquor.  Alcohol is alcohol.

The problem with saying one drink is fine occasionally,  is people will run with that and drink several every night.

If you have a pregnancy where you drink one small drink every couple weeks, it won't affect your pregnancy.

I personally NEVER swallowed a sip of alcohol pregnant,  that's just me.  But if you give some moms a yard they'll take a mile and think they can drink every night.

Brain damage to the baby is certainly evident at 6 drinks a week,  which can be wine,  beer,  or an ounce of hard liquor.

Pregnancy is short.  Just get through it without drinking,  IMHO.

Wine (about 15-20%) actually has a much higher alcohol content than beer (about 7.5% or less) my cousin had an occassional beer with her 3 kids and they are all fine. Her 4 year old reads at a 4th grade level already actually. Ultimately it is your decision. Dont let anyone make you feel bad about your final decision. Personally I am going to have 1 pina colada on my 21st birthday and i will be 18 weeks

I think that if you can't hold yourself back from one single beer.. Then u have a problem lol and probably shouldn't have gotten pregnant if u want or need one that bad... Think of the baby. Its going to do nothing for you. If u like the taste then go buy those ones that have no alcohol

To be honest, I do agree that it's not the best idea. Better safe than sorry, you know? But at the same time, I know how horrible it can be for some people, not being able to even have one single drink especially when everyone else around you is drinking. One beer will, not forever harm your child, I would however not recommend making it a habit. And while I do agree that it's not the best thing in the world to do, I am far more appalled by the women who smoke during pregnancy. But plenty of people do that. One beer is not the end of the world.

Wine is only okay after your baby is fully developed in the last month not, "here and there" and beer is not okay. I crave beer all the time but I wouldn't drink a small one I mean what's the point you're not gonna get drunk nor buzzed and it'll just go straight to the baby. Just wait it out you'll survive I promise ahaha

Kandis w knows what she's talking about. Doctors are 40/60 on the issue whether or not they will okay you to have a drink.

Even thinking of putting alcohol in your body while growing a innocent little human inside of you is beyond me.. I'd never do it or risk anything with my little girl. I want her healthy and happy as can be. :)

No they say you can have wine here and there but I wouldn't even risk that I'd put my child's health first
