I was 9 in 5th grade had no clue what was going on since we hadn't had our little class on puberty yet.
I was 12. I always kind of "knew" about periods because my mom wasnt shy or secretive about anything like that. There were always tampons and panty liners in the house.(my little brother thought they were underwear Haha) When sixth grade hit my mom told me it could happen at any time and we went to the store and picked out a few different pads for when i started. I kept them in a plastic container and when we went on trips or vacations i took it along. I actually started when we were on a camping trip, so thank god for that container!:) I will be doing EXACTLY the same with my daughters! My oldest is five and ive never hid my stuff from her. Shes asked what the are and i tell her the names of them(ie, tampons&panty liners) and that she'll know more about them when shes old enough!
I was 9 and in 5th grade! It sucked. Lol
7th grade-12 years old. If a six year old has already started, then they need to take her to the doctor because that's not normal at all. But then again, with all the added hormones and whatnot that is put into food these days, girls are starting their periods at an earlier age than 11 or 12 which is textbook normal.
I was 9 in 3rd grade...i remember playing baseball in my new blue denim jeans the ones with the patches that were in style and i tried to run to 1st base and fell out lol...woke up in the nurses office and then my mama came and picked me up never said anything about it to me lol...luckily i had sisters who talked to me after they made fun of me...
