How soon is too soon?

I'm almost 15 weeks how soon should I start buying stuff? Like little stuff just to get me a little hype because I don't feel really hype yet.

Most do it at their own pace. I would like to start buying little things, unisex clothes since I don't know what I'm having, binkies, toys Ect. However my fiance wants to wait till we know the gender and until we have the baby shower because he thinks his sisters will give their old strollers, car seat, crib Ect.

We started buying neutral stuff and nappies etc from 8 weeks, got the pram at 11 weeks. We started buying boys clothes on Friday. I'm 20+1 now and due to get the nursery furniture. Buying the things didn't give me a hype, it's only just sunk into me that I'm pregnant now that I know what I'm having

Whenever you want. We started early, the big stuff is expensive so it's easier to spread it out than spend that amount of money at the end.
