How to get the baby lower?

So I'm 36 and 3 days (according to my ultrasound... But lmp puts me at 37 n 3 ultrasound was done at 12 weeks) any ways I'm dialated at 2 1/2 cm and 25% effaced my contractions are random 5-10 mins apart. I went to labor and delivery but my contractions aren't making any progress dr said baby is still to high so if I can get the baby to come lower they will keep me, and it will cause further dialaion. Please keep your babies not ready comments to ur self... I'm in pain with these damn contractions and my dr is already a 39 week nazi! I know it's the early stages I just want things to keep moving cus these contractions that aren't making progress is pretty damn painful!

I'm sending my husban out to buy a yoga ball in the morning haha! Its so frustrating knowin ur having contractions and they are in a way for nothing! Contractions are suppose to be for a purpose and im getting discouraged and frustrated having this pain and my body isn't responding the way it should :( another annoying part my dr said "if you were further along we would give you meds to help get things moving" I'm not 30 weeks here! I get it's for the babies best interest but here I am at 12:12am and can't sleep cus I'm in pain! By the time the baby gets here I'm going to be so exhausted cus I can't relax and sleep because of the pain I'm in I hope walking and the yoga ball works. N I would so try having hubby help with Te glove theory but he won't do it lol he's scared about stuff like that. Its bad enough he is freaked out that I'm dialated and effaced. He says "how can we have sex? Your open, I don't want my daughter to come out looking like theirs something about Mary or worse Snooki" lmao

Ugh lame :/.. I know this sounds weird... but if u can have ur husband wash his hands and put a glove on.. then try to mimic what the Dr does to check u... but have him do it really hard... it stirs everything up.. my sister did it... also she went for a ride on a super bumpy road.. good luck :)

I've always been told that sitting on a bed and bouncing will help. Lol not sure if thats true, but if you get tired of walking steps you could try.the bouncing lol

Try walking up and down the steps and when laying down rotate from side to side every 30-60 mins!! Also try getting on all 4s for a while that helps
