How to spell the name...
It's a good thing I only found eight ways to spell it because there's only up to eight spaces to put poll choices, lol. SO the name is more commonly spelled Makayla, but I want it unique, I'm not a common speller/namer...so how would you spell it?
This is awesome because that's going to be my baby's middle name if it is a girl. I have opted to go with either spelling it as Mikaila or Mikaela.
Mahkayla is another way :)
I like Mikaila a lot as well. The spelling is really nice.

i have seen and prefer Mikayla
I made up a spelling and mentioned it in your other post: Mikaila. That is very different.
