I have hypothyroid. I had it before I got pregnant though. I started at 50 mcg of levothyroxine and I am now taking 75 mcg of levothyroxine.

Is that one low or high thyroid? I have low thyroid, diagnosed during my first pregnancy. It took a year to get the dosage of the medicine down correctly for me (mostly because I kept putting off the blood draw). My little girl was a little under the birth weight they wanted her to be at, but seeing as how both her parents were under 5.5 lbs at birth, it wasn't surprising. The hardest part for me is remembering to take my pill. and being tired a lot

I used to too.graves disease. Mine went away so there is hope :) been gone for about 3 years now. I give god the credit for that. But if it ever did come back thank goodness its treatable and our bodies can still have healthy babies they say. Not too bad of a thing to have in the whole scheme of sicknesses we could get. Good luck <3 I'll pray for you I know its easy to get stressed over it all.

My obgyn manages it with me taking 88mg of levothyroxine every day. Hyperthyroid can cause low birth weight babies and premature babies. I have taken my meds every day since I found out I was pregnant and I have rrecently been having issues with pre term labor. Im 33 weeks soon to be 34 on thursday. Its nothing to worry about as long as your ob is watching it and you are on medication for it
