The Depo has less than 1% of failure if you use it EXACTLY as directed. Many do not, hence they become pregnant. It's one of the best birth controls at offering protection. If you're feeling "flutters" you would be at least 13 (though more likely 16+) weeks pregnant, making it extremely doubtful you would be. If you think you are, have an ultrasound done. Nothing will miss a pregnancy that far along-- that said, many things can cause "flutter" feelings, including gas, digestive issue, muscle spasms, etc etc.

Birth control is not 100% reliable that's why you have the doubt of the .01%. Pregnancy test nowadays are quite reliable (based on my experience), they never let me down.

the injection varies from person to person. But if you are taking it regularly it's quite unlikely that you will. There are some instance where women can get pregnant especially if they miss a day or two when they are due of the injection.

Birth control is NOT 99.9% effective, your less likely to be pregnant BUT u still could be. The best way to find out is going in for a blood test. I know 3 women who got pregnant on it. Good Luck!
