Yes, it's very common to have random bleeding and an irregular cycle after taking Plan B.
Okay. So are you saying that it is perfectly normal to start bleeding 8 days after mylast period that lasts only one day if I've taken Plan B?
Plan b could also cause that kind of effect. From the sound of it... you had sex after your period which means you were probably not fertile and had already ovulated... chances of getting pregnant are low. But then theres always a possibility of pregnancy . If you want to be sure... wait until your next expected menstrual cycle and check .
It's most likely from the Plan B, that can definitely mess up your cycles, so you might NOT get your period on the expected day, and it might not be normal. I had a friend take Plan B and had a very irregular cycle for the next couple of months due to it. You were most likely not ovulating when you had unprotected sex either, so it's very slim you're pregnant. BUT, if you don't want to get pregnant you need to have protected sex, to avoid this confusion. If you're still worried about pregnancy, wait 2 weeks from the unprotected sex and take a pregnancy test. Good luck!
I took the Plan B 2 days after unprotected sex, because my boyfriend couldnt make it to the store on day 1.
Plan B only works up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. As each day goes by the effect it has decreases. Chances are, it will not work
