This was three hours ago and since I have not been able to move.... I have tried heat massage everything but Tylenol but I don't see that working for this pain cause it is so bad.... I tried to get off the couch 10 mins ago which is only down a short hallway and halfway to it I collaspsed by the pain again... What should I do?please help

Ya lol I couldn't believe he tried to tell me that the baby couldn't be detected even if he tried... I actually laughed when he said that lol... But yes pregnancy is hard enough without this going on thanks for your responses everyone

That is crazy they didn't check on the baby!  With me they looked to make sure the placenta was in tact and I didn't tear it, that I had enough fluid around the baby and the length of my cervix to make sure I wasn't having any contraction to go along with the back pain.

I would go to your regular doc just be on the safe side.  I hope you are feeling better soon, it's hard enough being pregnant without that.

I will have to try that... When I went to the hospital on saturday the dr wouldn't check the baby what an a$$ you know what he told me lol he told me that a 13 week fetus can't be seen or detected lol.... I had 2 ultrasound during this pregnancy and MY dr found the heart beat two weeks ago... I was just wondering if it could hurt the baby from like pinching nerves or something... The same reason your not supposed to sleep on your back...????

I did this a few weeks ago putting together bunk beds for my older son.  I know I shouldn't be lifting bunk beds...  Anyway, I went to the doctor everything was fine with the baby but they didn't give me any medicine.  Instead I went swimming, real swimming, not with children.  After that day I feel GREAT again.

I am now on my third day of not being able to walk.... Should I start trying to strech my back muscles? Also could this injury have hurt the baby? Last night was the first night in weeks where I didn't have to wake up to pee and it's making me paranoid...

tylenol #3 is safe from my experience...I believe it's a class C Joy, they prescribed it to me and I did a lot of research but I mean I could always be wrong??I used it when I was pregnant with Kahlan and Grey prescribed by different OBs each pregnancy to manage my migraines..so I sure hope I'm right LOL

Could be sciatic pain. Is that what he said? I would have it so badly with my second daughter I couldn't move either! Oh it was horrible!!! T3, or Tylenol with Codeine, is a Class D drug, which means it is not safe for use during pregnancy.

I went... He didn't really look... And gave me T3... I have never really felt pain this bad next to child birth it won't go away my stomach feels crampy too prob from the stress of the pain... Are tylenol 3 even safe for me to take? What will it do to the baby... I would rather deal with the pain than put the baby at risk

You need to go to the ER!  You may have a slipped or bulging disk.
