I gave birth!

Had a dr appt Friday October 9 went I was 41 weeks my blood pressure was a little high so he sent me to the hospital to be induced because I was overdue anyway... arrived to the hospital 11:45 they broke my waters and started me on pitocin contractions started right away I got the epidural (to all out there.. the epidural hurts like a *****... I'm not gonna lie... but its so worth it you don't feel a damn thing!) But my baby wasn't reacting well to pitocin his heart rate melts dropping so I needed a c-section he was born October 9 at 7:20 weighing 9lbs!! I'm in pain and its hard to get around and all.. but my baby is so worth it! Good luck to all you mommies out there! Time seems like it never comes but it does! And you'll be so glad you waited!!! Easy births to all you out there!

I was induced too a week ago. I was 2 cm when I went in and I was in labor 32 hours from the start of the pill until my daughter came out. Thankfully I didn't need a c section too. What were ypu at when you went in and how long did they let you try a vaginal birth before deciding on a c section? Congrats mama! That's a big boy too, so you probably got lucky he was a c section. And the epidural was a lifesaver for me too. I didn't even think it would hurt that bad once my water broke. Enjoy your little baby boy!
