I have a scheduled c-section tomorrow and I'm so nervous :/

I'm so nervous I can't even sleep. This is my first pregnancy and unfortunately I have to get a c-section due to baby measuring big. I don't know what to expect I'm so scared about being awake while I'm getting cut open and feeling pain. I'm overreacting but I'm just so nervous!

I had an emergancy c section with my first. I was also so scared. Suprisangly it was not as bad as i imagined. I was walking around as soon as i could feel my legs. I didnt find it as painful as i would of imagined, just a little uncompfortable, which was a big suprise as im the biggest cry baby ever. Plus didnt have to do no house work for a few weeks which was great as i was able to put all my energy in to adjusting to being a new mum. Hope it goes well xx

It's very normal sweetie to feel nervous. Iv had 4 c-sections Goin on my 5th August 17th. The part for me personally is the spinal block,  it feels like it takes forever!  It is painful buy for a second and you do feel some pressure from the needle.  Once you hear your baby cry you will forget what is kinda going on.  Ask your doctor if you can do skin to skin  immediately after your baby is born it will be good for them it's also a good bonding experience. There's also going to be 10 people in there also plus your birth partner.  Everything will be fine sweetie, try not to worry too much.
