I see Two babies anyone else!

I had an ultrasound done at 14 weeks and when I got home I noticed another head and spine, however I called the doctor all week long and have received no answers. One secretary and nurse said that I am probably just seeing the placenta or blood cells but last time I checked neither had bones in them. My father was a twin and twins run on both sides of my family. This is my 3rd/ 4th baby and I can't wait to find out! Please especially Doctors let me know what you think! Thanks for your help

It really does look like another head. To me I can even make out the chin, mouth and nose. That is soooo weird. If they did miss another baby that would be crazy!!!

I'm with Brown Eyed Gurl.  Waht everyone else is referring to as another "head" doesn't look like that to me.   I've been pregnant 7 times and have seen several ultrasounds with this "blob" and all of mine have been singleton.  That's not to say it ISN'T another baby but it doesn't look like it to me.  I'm pretty certain your doc and/or his u/s tech know what they are looking for and like  Brown Eyed Gurl said it should have been easily spotted UNLESS one was hiding behind the other and in this instance it's off to the side.  I still would insist on the doc answer questions or repeating the u/s....even if you have to walk into the office and put your foot down in person.

my twins are in seperate sacks and are very easy to see there are two and as far along as you are I really doubt your OB would miss another baby since they should be about 2" long a piece I guess there's always a chance but he should have seen two heartbeats if so....good luck and let us know

I agree it looks like another head to me too.  I would make them do another ultra sound and if they wont i would find another doctor.  How could they miss a whole extra head in there, when it printed out on the picture?

The picture is not so clear, but I can also see another head.  I can`t believe that dr didn`t noticed that. You must find him and to make another us. This is not placenta eather something else.
Good luck

If i am not mistaken, if it is twins they should have different sac...but they may or maynot sharing the placenta (with separate umbilical cords, of course!)... so if it is twins,  you should see 2 different sac regardless of whether it is identical twins or non-identical twins. And the doctor should hear 2 different heart beats as well..!! good luck!
