One thing about WIC, they are not doctors. I don't even mention what WIC says to my doctor or my kids pediatrician because they are only nutritionist & don't know everything. I've been there a few times when they tried to tell me my breastfeeding baby was having a rash due to an allergic reaction because of the dairy foods I ate. I told my baby's pediatrixian & he said no its just rash from the coldv weather, and ITodd me to use a better lotion life eucerin, & it worked so, yea lol I just go get my checks & call it a day.
If your doctor isn't concerned then it doesn't matter. My cousins baby was an 8 pound and she delievered him naturally. I would have been offended! But here at my wic they are really nice to me and don't make me feel awkward for being there so I'm starting to like it a bit. Don't worry momma I'm sure you're fine I wouldn't listen to anyone medical opinions buy my doctors.
That's what I'm saying! I'm pretty sure if my doctor isn't worried it's not this huge problem like they're saying! But thanks :)
I don't do wic. But did they go to medical school?! How would they know. I gained 50 with my daughter (10lb in 1mo) my baby was 8lb 2oz... If it wasn't for my bp I wouldn't have had a csection. Friends have had babies 10-11 lb naturally... So ignore them!
