Active Pregnancy

Hi there! My boyfriend and I are having our first. I'm due in August, and my concern right now is my job! I am very active, and coach gymnastics, which includes demonstrating skills and tumbling. When I found out I stopped tumbling, but I'm worried about how this will effect my job as a whole. I've had morning sickness all the time, regardless of taking b6, and already I'm experiencing fatigue from 4 hour practices. The people I work with/for are like family and understand if I have to make any changes. But should I keep coaching for this pregnancy, or get a temp job?

I work at a spay & neuter clinic for animals & I think it's really just what ur comfortable doing! If u did it before u were pregnant chances are u can continue but also be more careful! I was lifting 50 lb animals, restraining them, breathing in anesthesia & working with feral cats which is bad when ur pregnant but I've been doing it for years & I just cut back on certain things but an still able to do most of my job, I'm due the end of July so the farther along I get the less I will be able to do so I'd just go with the flow for now & I'm sure ur job will work with u considering they are like family! My jobs the same so were lucky in that sense :)

I would say it is going to be up to you and what you are comfortable with. The think about pregnancy is that it is not going to last forever and before you know it you will be able to do everything you were doing before at work. Fatigue is going to happen throught the pregnancy and for that just try to rest as much as you can, go to sleep early, eat healthy. If you are close to your boss and they are understanding then hopefully it wont affect your job. I would also recommend sitting and having a conversation with them about it and just see what they are thinking/feeling about it. I worked until the day I had my first, and I plan on working until I have this one!
