I'm so confused!

I recently had a miscarriage, I actually miscarried March 19th at 8 weeks but the doctor said baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I ended up finding out I am pregnant again on April 27th, that was the first day I got the faint positive line. According to my last period which was actually my miscarriage I should be 8 weeks today. I went in for an ultrasound and was told I am actually 5weeks 5days? We couldn't see a baby either just the yolk sack.the machine was an older one as well but I was wondering is this normal? I knew I wouldn't 've exactly 8 weeks but 2weeks off is a lot! I need answers I'm going crazy with worry:( I'm scheduled for another ultrasound in about 2 weeks. Has this happened to any one else?

Your ovulation could have happened late. I was told i conceived February 2 because it was my ovulation period, but i actually conceived between the 5-6th. You're body probably took a little longer to get back into it's regular ovulating routine too.

not.right after my miscarriage but my last menstrual cycle was December 1 so i thought my due date was September 7th went in for the gestational age ultrasound and found out i was not due till September 21.
