Im so selfish!!

Ok sort of a vent, I feel so bad. Here I am at 3 in the morning having regular contractions every two minutes. They arent horribly painful but enough so that I cant sleep. I cant wait to meet my baby but I cant help but think NO not tonight!! I have two school picnics tomorrow for my older kids, a parent teacher conference, and an awards ceremony on Monday :/ I have 4 days left but I cant help but hope that this isnt labor :( I dont want to disappoint my older kids (kindergarten and first grade) because they worked so hard to get the awards and they have been looking forward to family picnic day for weeks.

I know many of you are dying to go into labor, wanna trade lol??

I'm the same way. We have plans with our three year old to take him to a movie this weekend before his brother comes, then he is so excited about dressing up as Bumble Bee from Transformers for Halloween. His school is having a party, and then trick or treating that night. He was too sick last year to do all this so i would hate to miss out on it. Plus, i want only my doctor delivering my baby. I dont want someone else doing that!

Aw hun! Thats not selfish at all! Id feel the same way especially with Halloween on Weds. My five yr old has been talking about Halloween since July so no matter how cold it is I am getting that boy out for his candy lol He would be sorely disappointed if I didnt

If they get faster then id get yourself down the hospital... Im sure your other kids wouldnt care once their baby sibling is here...
