Might sound stupid but i need HELP

Hey girls. i have a 2 month old baby who sometimes still wakes up in the middle of the night and at 6:30 for his first feeding. This is not the problem the problem is my husbands SNORING! when i get back into bed i cant get back to sleep...its hard enough to fall asleep, he also wakes me and the baby up with the snoring. before the baby i slept with ear plugs now that is not an option for me!!!! we have tried the nose strips but it has not worked. Am i the only one with this problem?? i have been throwing his butt out on the couch but thats not good for our relationship. can someone offer any advice.

thank you!

oh also the snoring after awhile because a soothing sound for the baby.. my dad has a HUGE snoring problem, and when I was younger if I couldn't sleep I'd open my door and listen to him snore lol. it put me to sleep.

this might sound dumb but have you tried touching his face in the middle of the night.. anytime my hubby starts snoring I touch his face and he stops..
also I would get it checked out because with my in laws my hubbys dad snores like crazy, and my hubbys mom sleeps in a completely different room.. and I agree I don't think its good for the relationship..

Oh how I can relate.  I used to want to smother my fiance with a pillow.  It was so frustrating that I would wake him up crying and begging him to stop.  They have this thing on tv called pure sleep or something like that.  It's a mouth guard that opens the airways and allows the proper access of air so that they don't snore.  We haven't tried it yet but we were looking into that.  Good luck because sometimes my son would wake up screaming as if he were scared and I could only think that it was the snoring that was frightening to him.

He may need to see a doctor if his snoring is really bad. I think he'd see an Eye, Nose, Ear doctor for it. I don't think the nasal strips, pillows, or anything like that would help if you've tried them before without them working.

DH only snores when he sleeps on his back. Normally I just have to tell him to roll over, but sometimes it takes a bit more. Hopefully your fix is as simple as mine.

Oh wow that's a problem I haven't had to deal with yet, but I imagine I will. I hate it now when I get up to pee and I have to shake my dh to wake him up and then try to fall asleep before he starts snoring again.

They also sell pillows designed to help snoring and a special nasal spray. You might want to check those out. If all else fails you could send DH to the dr to see what other options you might have.

Good luck.
