What To Do????

Well it's official... I have been off birth control for a year and NO BABY!!!! My husband and I have not been trying but not preventing until about 2 months ago when I began to use OPKs. I honestly thought I would be pregnant by now but nope, NOTHING!!!!  It's so disappointing, but I can't even cry. I just feel hopeless and that it will NEVER happen. Any suggestions??!??!!!

Talk to your doctor about chlomid. Safe, easy and Pretty effective fertility drug. Only $9 at Walmart. My sister got pregnant using it.

Thanks ladies for the comments. To answer your questions back, yes I have returned to normal cycles which is good. I go anywhere from 29-31 days each month so my period is pretty regular. Also when I used the OPKs in Dec and Jan I did get a surge so I'm thinking I do ovulate which is also good. However it does make me worry because with a normal cycle and positive OPKs that we still aren't pregnant. I have an appointment with my general doctor for my physical on Feb 28 and an appointment with my OB on Mar 5. I guess we'll have to wait until then to see what happens. I know I'm already exhausted and feel defeated. Don't think I'll use anything OPKs or temping or anything until we go the OB appointment. Thanks again Ladies!

It can take awhile for your body to adjust after being off the pill. Add to this that it can take the average couple up to a year to get pregnant and you quickly realize it is not as easy as everyone thinks it will be. You can always talk to your OB and they can run some tests to see how you and your husband are. Also, have you been keeping track of your cycles? Do you know when you ovulate? You really have to be good at knowing when you ovulate since you only have a short window with the best odds of getting pregant. Good luck and don't beat yourself up!!

Easier said than done but try not to worry, was it the pill you where on and are your cycles back to normal? I was on drop and hook almost 2 years to get a period. Do you use ovulation tests? Would buy on net a lot cheaper and hear good things
