baby names and boyfriend :'(

Im getting so frustrated. I feel like my boyfriend doesn't want me to pick the baby name. I.feel like he wants to pick it and I just fall in love with it  then he can say he was the one who thought of the name. Every name I say he hates. He doesn't give it a chance and he jokes about how stupid it sounds. I.found an amazing name that I.feel In love with, and he automatically said no . I.wanted to cry. he said it sounded stupid then said "let's name it purple, or nhl " he kept going on about names that wernt even names. Saying that how stupid mine was , that it didn't sound like a name. I want to.freak out on him. I feel like I should just say f*ck it and let him pick the damn name. :'( I honestly feel like crying.

I dont think i could ever do that to him. I want us both to agree and like the name. We made this beautiful thing together so i want us to pick the name together.
He just still says that we have a lot of time. But to me, it feels like the baby will be coming right around the corner.

We did write down our top names that we like. We just have to actually sit down and go over them with one another. Lets just hope something comes to us soon. :)

Don't get frustrated. When he starts acting like a fool you just have to calmly stop and let him know that BOTH of you have to come to some kind of agreement on the name for the baby and if he keeps shooting down or making fun of every name you choose that it's never going to happen. Also, point out that you don't spend your time making fun of every name HE picks out and he needs to stop acting immature and be a little more proactive about the situation. Maybe you guys can write down the top 20names (for example) and sit down together and calmly go thru them and compare to come to an agreement. Remind him that its not a platform for arguments or to act childish and that both of you need to be open minded.

In the end u get the final say really. The mom signs the birth papers and everything. I would just tell him either u stop ur joking around and actually consider a couple of names or ur gonna end up with no say whatsoever. I had no problem with my husband but he already knew that i get to sign the papers in the end so he worked darn hard to find a name with me that we both like. And i am the kinda person that would turn aroumd and sign whatever namebi like on the birth certificate if he ever tried to pull that load of bull on me. So just tell him. Maybe hell smarten up and be serious about it. This is a name ur child will wear for the rest of his or her life!

He brought a name that a mention a long time ago. I said"i.already said that name and you didn't like it" he said yeah but things change, I like it now. I said you can't do that.we can't name our baby and a month later you hate it, because there no way to change it. its frusterating me.

Well tell him he has to be more serious with this. A baby is important. or maybe when the baby born let the baby choose. get a hat with girl names and another with boy just put names both of you like. Maybe that will makes things easier.

we arnt finding out the sex. It was a surprise to find out i was pregnant so we decided to make the rest of the journey a surprise. lol But i do sometimes consider finding out gender because it would be a lot easier. But i really do want to wait.
I just feel like time is running out and we have nothing decided. I cant pick middle name until first name is picked cause it has to flow with each other. I feel like my pregnancy is going way too fast.

Maybe you should just wait till you know the sex unless your having a surprise baby. my bf told me he didn't want to think about names until the sex was revealed and we waited a week or two. But i was dying to pick out a name lol i get a little impatient

Don't sweat it, you still have time! My hubby and I can't agree on anything, we found one we could agree on but the more we say it the less we love it, so its back to square one. We're feeling pressure from our  families too, they keep trying to help but we don't like any of their suggestions and the conversations always end up with them getting grumpy at us. We probably won't pick a name until we see the little guy, maybe that's something you two should consider too.

Well we already agreed he.picks the boy middle name amd I. Pick girls middle name. And we both.pick.the first. and he knows how I feel and said that he just really doesn't like the one I have said so far. Maybe its my hormons idk.

Still dont know what im having , but if its a boy i told my bf i like the name Jason (: nd if its a girl he can choose a name , but he is letting me choose the name cause he said its fair enought that the baby would have his lastname so i get to choose the name , but i think is only fair if both agree on  a name

Thats crazy,  I told my husband the baby gets your last name and I have no saying so im picking the name wether he likes it or not....you just gotta put you foot down and tell him how you feel...

Yeah! My boyfriend hated most of the names i thought of but at the end we agreed on two Libbie Meilyn <3 you two just make a list of names and eventually you will agree on names nut he needs to stop joking around cuz this is serious thing you don't want to.come out like Kim K Lol!

My hubby was kinda like that he hated eeeevvveeerry name i picked..  but he was being silly about names too  we finally decided on 1 boy 1 girl so i may work itself out.. But like she said try the i pick this u pick that it may work

Try telling him he can pick the first name and you can pick the middle name or vise versa?
