not deciding a name together

So I'm seeing alot of posts about names & Im stuck in a different kinda dilema when it comes to naming my baby. When I had my first it was decided that since I only wanted one child my boyfriend would be get to decide the final name (I lost this fight in a best out of 21 Mario Kart Wii tournament lol) since we didn't plan on anymore kids he happily told me I could name the next baby. Well I'm pregnant now & apparently he has it in his head that he gets to name this baby too. He said we can play for it but I think I earned this one afterall I am doing all the work right? I understand we have an akward approach to our problem solving. We even determine everyday things like who cooks or washes dishes with a quick race. It's not like we're kids (just at heart)  I'm 25 & my boyfriend is 30 but I'm off the subject. Am I asking for too much by wanting to name this baby with out his input????

I love the name Felix Elias for a boy. Its a good solid name that's been around for a long time but never became popular. But he says kids will .make fun of him and call him Felix the cat. for a girl I like Genesis Lynette but e says that reminds him of the old Sega consoles

Since he got to name the first baby its only fair you get to name the 2nd child.
My husband and I have always had a comprise when the baby is a boy he gets to pick out the 1st name and me the middle name. When the baby is a girl I pick out the 1st name and he the middle name. It's worked out so far we have a 3 year old boy and 6day daughter.

yeah men just dont understand. My BF knows how it feels because not only do I get MS but he does also and he always tells me he rather be sick than go through the pain of carrying and delivering the baby.

He tries to play the sympathy card saying it's not fair that I get to experience the bonding with baby before the baby is born and he feels left out and it's not fair blah blah blah! I'm thinking "cry me a river" I know good and well he would not want to Be the pregnant one.

I think its fair. When i had my first baby I named her without his input so i told him when we have another baby (if its a boy) he could name him without say from anybody. Believe it or not we are having a boy and he gets to name him without say.
