I am 19 and expecting my first in November. I am under my moms insurance, do I need to get my own insurance and then add baby under? Or can I stay under my moms and still add baby

Depending on your state,  they may have a state sponsored insurance for baby, like in PA we have c.h.i.p and every child is accepted

Thats weird. My mom has humana so idk how medicaid works out if your under your moms on.it. maybe just sign up for your own medicaid insurance and get off your moms.

Im on my moms insurance but she cant put my baby on it. If you get medicaid(medical card) u can put the baby on it after he/she is born. Thats what im doing. Plus it helps cover more of your doctor visits

I'm 18 and on my mom's insurance and my child is not covered by her insurance.
If your mother's insurance says anything about covering grandchildren then maybe but if it doesn't then no, your baby is not covered by hers.
