By your milk "coming in" they mean the regular milk you will be producing, 2-4 days after birth you will produce colostrum, a thicker more satisfying milk filled with antibodies that will help your little one gain a stronger immune system. Everytime you breastfeed however there will be formilk and hindmilk, formilk is thicker and more filling, hindmilk is runnier and more thirst quenching
And the mothers milk tea is awesome, but u have to drink like 3 to 4 cups a day
My actual milk didn't come in until 4 days after birth. Colostrum is very important to feed your baby. Couple days after birth squeeze your boobs and milk will literally shoot across the room haha.
Yeah that tea is called mothers milk you can drink it while pregnant too.
What. She ^^^^ said. Plus your milk gradually comes in, it doesn't come all at once. It goes from dark yellow colostrum to a lighter yellow and then eventually just white. My milk "came in" during the third day. I was pumping as well and the milk I pumped in the first few days was yellow compared to the milk I pumped after 10 days which was white.
Your baby will drink colostrum the first three days before your milk comes in. Their bellies are super tiny so they don't need much :)
Can you take it while pregnant or does it have to be after you give birth ?
At my local grocery store i saw a tea that helps increase your breastmilk
