Jobs

What type of job do all you ladies have? Or are you just taking it easy and not working during the pregnancy?

We can make it by with just my husbands income but I feel like I should be working too. Especially if we get our girl since we have two boys and nothing girlie and all the baby girls in our family were born in the opposite season so all sizes would be off for hand me downs.

I was working factory but my supervisor was a prick and wouldn't take me off a press even though my belly was rubbing against the table making a tender spot all the way across it and the lifting was causing me to have braxton hicks...so long story short, I quit.
But I considered going back to fast food but am still having issues with food smells making me nauseous, and although I have personal experience with computer programs to have like a receptionist job I don't have any job experience in that area.
Any ideas?

I do in home care & I love it. This is the 1st time I have done this line of work. I have done nursing home & group home work before but this is so much better as it is 1 on 1 w/ people in their own houses & I got to set the hours I wanna work. There's no heavy lifting. Basically I just make sure they take meds, do some house cleaning as needed, take to dr appt if needed, & keep them company. Maybe you should try it. You might like it as well. Financially its not the best but its rewarding knowing you are helping someone in need.

I had to quit. I worked EMS & we lift 100+ pounds daily so that definitely was not an option. I want a job though but also not sure what type would be good right now

For those of you wanting to work/job hunting what type of job are you looking for? Like I just don't know which direction to take my job hunting...
I enjoy working. Even though we can make it on my hubbys income I like being able to do extra stuff I want cause I can say I worked for that money ya know? And there are things my husband doesn't think are neccessary but I can't live without lol plus it makes the days go by faster and I feel like it will help my body go into labor on its own (I didn't work either of my other pregnancies and had to be induced with both)

I don't work. Haven't had a job in a year.  I graduated college with my teaching degree in December of 2012 and have yet to take my last test for my certification.  I got a job at a daycare but then decided to just focus on wedding planning last year. My husband makes good money so I always have the choice if I do want to work or not. But I may just take my last test and trg to get a teaching job in august! Just depends on if I am ready to leave baby in daycare.

I was working but now I'm not because at 31 weeks I was put on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy sure to preterm labor. I was planning on going back to work after the baby is born and what not but my boyfriend doesn't want me to he wants me to spend time with the baby. I really would rather just stay out of work because I know I'm going to want to be with him 24/7!
