June Mommies! 20wks ....half way there!
Hi Ladies! Today I hit week 20, I'm half way there. I'm trying to adjust to my new found back aches and my ribs constantly hurting. Believe it or not I'm not really that tired, just maybe aggravated from the constant bedrest; so this weekend I got up cleaned my house from top to bottom, mopped all the floors, washed and folded clothes, and then started having a couple of "braxton hicks" contractions, so after that I sat my hard-headed *** down! :) After getting over the shock of finding out I will be added another little boy to the clan(#3), I can truly say I'm looking forward to his arrival.

i can relate with you prayful wife, my husband is a pilot and away every second week, i am so scard he is going to miss the birth of his first baby!!
Thats good. I had no idea you were having problems! lol. I was wondering what happened to you! I'm glad shes there to keep you company though. Wow...I wouldnt be able to handle my man being a truck driver...I'd miss him too much. So he gets the weekends off then? Is he planning on taking time off when youre about due so he doesnt miss it? Id be terribley disheartened if my bf wasnt there for the birth of his baby! Im not pregnant yet but hopefully soon! Not on bc this month and thats what got me last time. So I'm just a praying!
Sorry if I confused you! He's not going to induce me that early, but I will stop getting my weekly progestrone shots (they've been helping keep my cervix closed) so he's estimated that once I'm finished with the 35wk shot that labor will follow very close! My cervix has already started to shorten, but thankfully not dialate. Where my cervix should be measuring at 3.5 it's now at 2.9 so what I will most likely have to due is have the nurse come out to my home 3x's a week instead of the 1x that she comes now, and we'll probably start that on week 26. Believe it or not tho, I feel pretty good, and I really dont think I need her all that much. She gives me the shots and puts me on a fetal monitor to listen to the baby. She's more so been keeping me company and looking at cold case files with me :) ! It's a comfort tho considering the fact the my husbands a truck driver and doesnt make it home until Friday nights.
Im now 19 weeks 2 days and am having a boy!!!! Im so excited. I am due June 22, 2008 and that is the day after my birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me!!!! Almost half way there.

IM A JUNE MOMMY!! but he will be 2 yrs. june the 15th (FATHER'S DAY) june is the best time to have them not that any other month wouldn't be but that's just my lucky month this year...2 birds with one stone....b-day party and a F DAY gift......best of luck to all of you twenty something weekers!!!

i will hit the 20wk mark on thursday and my u/s is on friday... i'm glad to hear everyone is doing good minus a few aches here and there!!! i'll post after my u/s if you'd like to hear if our little one cooperated and see if i'll keep the june boy trend going!!! :)
hi girls, I'm just past the 20 week mark as well due June 13 with a boy, we are very excited this is our first boy after 2 girls. I was late with both my girls so I will most likely be late with this one. It's good hearing from all of you.
hi, i am 18w5d and I find out the sex of the baby on the 4th i can't wait! So far everyone i have heard that is due right around us is having a boy.....we are hoping for a boy but dont really care as long as he/she is healthy. I will be lucky if i go on time as well. My first was late! hope this one is ontime LOL
I can so relate. My Dr will be inducing me early as well. EDD is June 9th, but he's looking at the end of May. My last baby, 2 1/2 yr old now was born May 16th. I'm hoping he'll wait atleast until the last week of May so their Bday aren't right on top of each other. Not that that's not cuttin it close.
Is there a reason they are inducing you so early? Did i miss something?! Congrats on the 20th week! I was due may 9th! :)
Well done honey!!! am 20 weeks next week and still waiting to find out the sex of the baby!!! dont find out until feb 12th so am now counting down the days!!!!!
22w1d today. Find out in 8 days what the sex is and I am sooo excited. It really feels like I am a kid waiting for christmas morning.
I'm so impatient, I've already put the nursery together, and started buying clothes. With my history my OB told me last week he'll be satisfied with me making it to the end of May, so with the bit of information I'm thinking I will have my shower on the 1st Saturday in May and pack my bag to go to the hospital on that Sunday! I refuse to be caught off gaurd this time around.

Wow, long time no talk!! I just hit my 20 weeks over the weekend on Saturday. Awww, I'm having a boy too due June 13th (they moved it 2 days early).
21 weeks today, yeah! I've been starting to have problems with my hips while sleeping. I have to constantly roll over.......It's worth it!
