Just an update :)

Just wanted to update everyone who may have been following my story! I feel so blessed every day that I wake up and know that this precious baby is growing inside me! Tomorrow (2/1) I will be 8 weeks. I have not had any nausea so far except once when I was eating a strong-smelling food that did not appeal to me. Other than that one time I have had no sickness. My breasts are very sore and I've experienced a lot of fatigue and sleepiness but those are VERY small prices to pay for the reward. I feel great overall and still can not believe God has given me the opportunity I have been praying for and wanting for so long. I don't know what I did to deserve this miracle the Lord has bestowed upon me, but I am so grateful for this baby. Here are some amazing verses I have been using a lot lately:

"For this child we have prayed, and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts" - 1 Samuel 1:27

"Every good and perfect gift is from above" - James 1:17

"I sing for joy at the work of Your hands" - Psalm 92:4

"I will priase you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well" - Psalm 139:14

I ordered a fetal doppler to have at home and with a lot of patience and a very full bladder, I managed to hear the baby's heartbeat for a few seconds before he/she sent me on the hunt again! It only lasted maybe 5 or 6 seconds but it was the most beautiful sound! It was registering in the 120s on my doppler. I haven't found it again but I know it's very early and I feel so lucky to have heard it at all at home! :)

Congrats to you. I always like to think that with the faith of a mustard seed, God will help you move mountains. :-) Even going through this miscarriage I think to myself how blessed I was to even get pregnant. Since I was 15 they have told me I wouldn't because of problems from PCOS. Now I know God will let me have my chance too.

Thank you, Stacey. I am always amazed at the support I get from you and others who have followed my journey through this site. It's okay that not everyone has the same religion, what I can definitely appreciate is that we all realize the miracle of life and what a precious gift these babies are. I have cherished every moment since I first found out 4 weeks ago. I hope that the next 32ish weeks continue to go just as smoothly as the first 8 have. I am ready and willing to accept any and all challenges that come along with pregnancy and being a mommy. Thank you again for your encouraging and kind words!

I'm not religous really :) BUT we both know why your pregnant :) because you deserve to be :) and the universe/god knows what a fantastic mum you will be and I have listened to your struggle with trying to get pregnant, and your discovery that you have pcos, watching everyone around you fall pregnant, helping god knows how many ladies have their babies, this is now your time and I'm pleased that your enjoying it, and I know you will cherrish every moment of your pregnancy(cankles :) ) lol , all of it, and I'm enjoying your ride from over the seas :) x
