I can now say that from reading all the other post about people trying to conceive and stuff like that I wasnt trying to conceive I guess...lol...I never knew about checking the cervix, cm, any of that stuff that you guys talk about, maybe thats why I never succeeded...I dunno..I just didnt know about all this stuff.

Well Im pregnant now I just dont understand what took so long ya know, what finally made things possible, I guess it really doesnt matter now does it.....lol

The chances of getting pregnant are quite dependent on when a women has sex with regards to ovulation.  Here is a quote I found from Dr. Keith Downing in the "pregnancy expert forum":

"A woman with a regular menstrual cycle ovulates near the middle of her cycle.  In a 28 day cycle this would be around day 14.  The probability of becoming pregnant after unprotected intercourse is 15% 3 days before ovulation, 30% 1-2 days before ovulation, 12% the day of ovulation, and <1% 1-2 days after ovulation."

my g/f had her daughter, with the old fashioned methods, checking her body temps, cm, and the pillow under her hips lol after BD'ing.....

2 preg ended in m/c for them, but then she was removed from boot camp after fracturing a couple leg bones, and so they figured they'd try when she'd been home after a couple months....well, she got pregnant withing 2 weeks of returning home!!!

trust me, i've learned the best things come, when you're not thinking of them! i'd have gotten pregnant last fall, when i was making good money and had an ins option, and a job as a collector, which although stressful, i wasn't on my feet! but then i ended up leaving there, and getting pregnant in january! when i wasn't trying!!!      in fact, while i was pregnant and didnt know, df even suggested maybe something was wrong with him, or maybe i should get checked b/c of my m/c past.....the next day is when i tested.....talk about surprise!!!

Well there is a 25% chance of becoming pregnancy each cycle so don't feel as though you're a failure or anything like that. It's very important to figure out your fertile window, and even get to a place where you know when you ovulate.

So first thing you should try to do is determine which method of ovulation prediction you want to try! You can take your temp, check CM, or use those ovulation prediction kits. The last one costs money. But the first two are very effective if you use them both.

I got pregnant with my youngest using the CM method on the first try. So I endorse this one the most.
