Just wondering. ..
Ok so I'm at my first obgyn appt. Signing numerous documents and having stuff thrown at me all ways. The one thing that is freaking me out is arbitration. There is a video and forms that I have to sign. This is the first time I ever dealt with this but I'm also a ftm. Is this normal?? I asked has their been an incident in the past or what. They said it's new in fl. Should I run. I live in Clearwater fl.
The video was a dumb down version of what arbitration is. That if something happens this is the process. No jury trial but a settlement and that this is because fees are to expensive for a doctor to practice without it. It sounds like scary like they know they are gone screw up.
I signed forms for the doctor's office as well as signed up for Medicaid and a MOMS program with the nurse my first appointment. I didn't have to watch a video but I suppose they may? Like WIC had a video lol. What kind of video was it?
