Nolan Wallace Roach came into this world at 4:15AM, September 3rd 2014. He weighs 7lbs and 2oz & he measures 18 1/2in long.
I was supposed to get induced the day he was born, but he decided that inducing wasn't an option and came all by himself. The hospital was so short handed that they actually were going to ask me to come in the next day to get induced, but Nolan was already coming.
I came to the hospital at 2:30PM and was dilated to 2cm..so I walked for an hour..still 2cm, but my contactions were as if I were farther. They took me to my room at around 5:00PM. I layed there and started getting more contractions. They were so strong as if I was on pitocin, but I wasn't. So I had it rough..when my pain level felt as if I should have been at least 5cm, I was actually only 3cm. It hurt so bad and I didn't get a break between most of the contractions at all. So at around 8:30PM my doctor let me have an epideral so she could break my water. The epideral was AMAZING! It was the best thing ever. So I layed there until 3:00 AM because she wanted to see if I would keep dilating. The nurse said my contractions were so strong that she was sure I'd dilate more...but I stayed at 3cm. Finally at around 3:30AM my doc came and said the babies heart was getting too weak because of the contractions I've been having for so long at high levels. So she broke my water. The water came out green and it should have been clear. My babies heart was in bad shape at this point. She stopped my contracrions and ordered me to an emergency c section. They tried numbing me and I thought I was numb. I even told her I couldn't feel the "testing" cuts...until she took the first slice...yeah I was not completely numb. So they quickly put me to sleep. Two hours later I woke up and met my little boy. ♡
I'm glad it's over..and the c section cut is so sore, but all worth it!! I'm so glad to have my little boy...true love does exist!! (:

I kinda overdid myself the first few days and my staples came out too soon, and I almost got an infection :| nd now its been two wks and my tummy still sore.
