you may want to call your doc and get a pregnancy blood test . some women dont produce alot of hcg but if your two weeks late something should be coming up on the test so i would see your doc also are you testing first thing in the am?
The length of your cycle is largely determined by when you ovulate. If ovulation occurs late, you'll have a later-than-usual period. Ovulation may be delayed due to extreme stress, sickness, medications, travel, new exercise regimen, etc.
However, if ovulation doesn't occur, the body still sheds the lining (anovulation period) and it's timing is also later than expected.
For example I expect my period to begin on CD29, however I ovulated on CD20. Therefore, my period won't actually start until CD35, six days late. I know the late ovulation is attributed to abnormal job stress.
