Hi ladys,
just want to know if having 1 small drinks and 1 bottle of alcohol harms the baby?? if you are around 4 to 5 weeks??

As long as it wasn't an exceesive amount of alcohol, I wouldn't worry about it....I know of people who drank quite a bit before finding out they were pregnant and everything was OK.....

i agree with kelly, if it happened before you new you were preggo i wouldnt worry but i def wouldnt drink if i knew i was!!!

If it happened before you found out, it happens alot and I wouldn't worry too much, but it wouldn't hurt to let your Dr. know.....However, if you are asking b/c you are planning on having a drink, I certainly would not take the risk.....

There is always a risk of harming the embryo when consuming alcohol while pregnant. There is no true direct right answer to the question. I have a girlfriend who drank uncontrollably during her first trimester, not knowing she was pregnant. Her baby is now a year old, healthy and beautiful. If it was done, it was done. I would just encourage it not to be done anymore.
