Baby dropped and is RIGHT THERE!! HELP!
Ok my baby has dropped and this might be TMI but I can stick my middle finger in my vagina only half way and I can feel the baby's head!!! I'm 31 weeks today and I was just wondering should I be concerned about going into pre-term labor??? I have also been losing my mucus plug for over a month now somedays its a lot and somedays just a little with no blood its just a clear whitish color.
Go to hospital asap sounds like baby is on the way n if nt is vunerable 2 infection good luck xx

I was just letting you know that you are probably just feeling the outline of your babies head pressing down on your pelvic floor probably. Maybe I didn't understand what your original post was and that's what you meant but you can't come in direct contact with the head if you aren't feeling past your cervix.
AND if other women were to look at this thread and try to feel for their babies and mess around with their cervix it's NOT a good idea. Whether you wash your hands or not you are still risking infection as no ones hands can become 100% free from germs. Ask your doctor I'm sure they will tell you the same thing.

I cant feel his hair but I can tell where his head is at.. my cervix is still closed and not effaced.... im so ready for him to come out.
I know ur not crazy on saying u can feel the bavys head cause I can feel jaces head about 2 1/2-3 inches in there so he is def low.. I can say it is weird being able to feel their head :)

I'm only worried about mine cause I have been having contractions and they actually had to stop labor last Friday when I was 34 weeks. I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow. I'm wondering if they have my date off a little.
My doc said the baby is pretty low but that there is NO such thing as a to low of a baby. My cervix is 80% effaced but I'm not dilated. My old doc had told me that I was dilated but obviously she didn't know what she was talking about. lol He also said everything is perfect with baby and that I can even pick up my son and do house work just as long as i don't go skydiving or any other extreme sports! lol
Wow that's insane I'd be freaking out girl I don't think I could have waited for a Drs appointment lol I wouldst been rushing to the hospital Haha. What did the Dr say though??? I'm really curious. I go see mine tomorrow, thank goodness my babies head isn't that far down! :/ ESP since I have to have c-Sections its scare the living crap outta me!
FYI I can feel my babies head and the only reason my finger was even up there was because my Husband said he felt something when we were fooling around so I checked it out!! and I know for a fact it was my babies head cuz as soon as I touched it it moved!! and I'm not going to get an infection simply for the fact that I'm not stupid and I didn't stick my finger up there without washing my hands! now go take your negativety elsewhere!
Now of course I'm 35 weeks tomorrow but it is still possible if her little pumpkin is wanting to make an early appearance or if her date if off.
Mine bulges out there's no way that's anything BUT a head, its round and hard. Its not sticking out past my cervix AND all that is in there is flesh so it is quite possible to feel the head weather dilated or not.
I'm doubting that you can feel your baby's head. You would have to feel past your cervix in order to palpatate anything. You should also not be messing around like that either...you are taking a risk of breaking your waters if they bulge and there is a HUGE chance of infection. 31 weeks is sometimes too early for even your doctors or midwives to mess around down there.

yea I can feel baby's head and it is VERY scary! and he's been low like this for about 3 weeks and now I'm even scared to go pee cuz everytime I do I juts feel as if he's going to just fall out! I've been trying to take it easy but its kind of hard when I have a 20 month old running around, I'm just afraid my doc is going to put me in the hospital and then my 20 month old will have to be tossed back and forth between my mother and aunt cuz his Daddy works in the oil field and is hardly ever home. we haven't seen him since sunday morning :/
It is very weird, mine doesn't seem to be as low as hers but its uncomfortable and scary! I first noticed it when my husband and I were trying to have sex, he said that it felt like it was bulging out and it was hard
You can feel your babys head?! I have never heard of that but it sounds scary!! Make sure you get it checked out!
Yes please do because I have been experiencing the same thing the past couple of days and I see my Dr Friday
Just an update, I go into to see my doc today at 2:50 I will let everyone know what he says after.
I was supposed to go in on the 9th but I switched docs cuz the other one just didn't seem to care about me or my baby and for this new doc he wants $100 deposit before my 1st appt and I had to push my appt back so I could save up for that cost he is asking for. But I will for sure call him in the morning and ask him about the baby being so low and see what he says.
I'd call the doctor first thing tomorrow morning and see if they can get you in sooner. The 22nd is a long way away if the baby is low like that.
I don't want to go to the hospital just for them to tell me not to worry and still have a big bill to pay. My husband just barely started a new job so we don't really have al the money in the world right now to spend on a hospital bill for nothing. and I haven't been having contractions just some mild lower back pain thats it.
