Lupus

Well i just got a call from my doc saying my blood work shows signs of lupus and she wants me to get more blood work done and reffered me to a specialist who will call me to schedule an appointment. I have been having a lot of joint pain the past two or three years and now im 22 weeks pregnant and its only gotten worse. My obgyn had me in physical therapy but stopped it bc id wake up not being able to move. And i read that it is worse if you have kidney problems. Well ive had kidney problems since i was a child. And lupus can be passed down to your children. My pregnancy was a surprise. I was lucky to even get pregnant. If i do have lupus...my pregnancy will be cnsidered high risk. How can i not worry about something like this. My daughter will already have fragile x syndrome bc me and my fiance are both carriers. We didnt find out til i was 13 weeks pregnant. We will love our daughter regardless but we want a healthy baby.

When my mom got pregnant with me she was diagnosed with lupus. Your pregnancy will be considered high risk...but you can do it. Thru God all things are possible stay positive. As far as your baby girl well...I am now 24 years old and as healthy as I can be and expecting my 3rd child. You can do it be positive. Praying for you and your family.

I am very thankful for my daughter. I just want the best for her. I dont want her having the health problems that i have.

Be thankful for your baby. You have a wonderful gift, a tiny little baby. I am very sorry you got such upsetting and disturbing news. I hope your baby is ok and makes it strong through this pregnancy.
