questioning my birth plan

I am 31+4 with baby number two my last birth was a c section I'm expected to try a vaginal birth at the hospital but Im just scared of the whole hospital experience again. Being hooked up to monitors not alowed to move or walk stuck on my back trapped in pain. I'm thinking of maybe switching to a birth center. Is it too late? What would I even say to the birth center if I called them? Freakin out,a lol

It's your birth and your baby. You deserve to be able to try a vbac. At a hospital they're more likely to just give up and do another one :(

I would call and ask if they do vbac. I know the center near me won't because it can be risky so their insurance won't cover it );

But it's definitely worth trying. Hospitals are no fun.

I would at least call and ask, just let them know you really want to do a birthing center over hospital birth, and see if they will do it!  Never hurts to ask.  I would have loved to do a homebirth too, maybe for # 5

I feel hospitals jump to c sections too quick. I was doing some research and babies born at birthing centers and at home have like a 3% chance of needing a emergency c section compared to like 30% for hospitals. Birth is a natural process. They need to keep it that way. I mean I understand sometimes things go wrong and need to be addressed asap but not cause the doctor just wants to get it over with

You still have time. If that's what you really want then go for it! I wanted to do a home birth but never got the money for it
