stopped breathing

So this has never happened to me before, but I haven't felt good all day my body just feels so weak and like poop and me and my bf layed down to take a pretty decent nap today. Well I stopped breathing in my sleep, he woke me up when he noticed. And I could tell when I woke up that I wasn't breathing. Then we both fell back asleep and repeated that about three times. I just kept stop breathing. Has this happened to anyone else? What's going on?

Sleep apnea. My mom had it and had to have surgery to open her airways. Call your doc asap and tell him. could be an onset from being pregnant and like someone else said the position of the baby. I really don't think that would have much to do with you passage ways though.

Probably was the position of the baby, but I'd talk to the dr as well

Its called sleep apnea and you really should run it by your Dr, he/she may get you to wear a special mouth guard at night to keep your airway open or If the apnea is severe, your Dr may have you wear a mask that's hooked up to a machine that provides a steady flow of air while you sleep... this is most likely a good part of the reason you feel like crap as it takes a lot from your body...
